QT 7.1.3 killed Youtube et al

since upgrading QT to 7.1.3 yesterday, Youtube et al
no longer work. I get a question mark in the middle of
the quicktime icon. I get this on other sites too. Does
apple ever check out these upgrade first or what?
Any advice?????:eek:
