QT metdata entry in Snow Leopard easier?

Does QuickTime allow for easier metadata entry? Currently I use QTPro and have to navigate the 'Window/Show Movie Properties' menu and then click the 'Add Annotation' button, and then select what field ~which is really laborious.

As 10.6 is to have QT revamped I was hoping Apple might have made this process a lot easier.

Anybody?
