I have done qt screen recording in mavericks and never had any issues, this attempt doesn't look too bad I had one that was worse. I have also tried to import movies (minidv) from my camera in Final cut pro it has lots of frame drops in it. I am hoping someone can tell me if there are any settings to help out. Mid 2012 cMBP 16 gig of ram
