QTKitServer won't stop 75% of CPU

New one one me, but my fan has never worked so hard, and despite quitting QuickTime, which I assume it's related to, It's going mad at the moment, Why now is this a problem?

Yup, thanks, just done. I've had fan blasts in the past but they've always at some stage, stopped, but this just went on forever. I opened an MKV prior, but it's not a new file

It's likely the file is possibly corrupt or incompatible.

still got this problem today, but not when any QT files are being used...
