I have a MacBook Pro 8.2 late 2011.
I have installed 4 different operating systems, OS X 10.9.3, Windows 8.1, Linux Mint 16, and Kali Linux. Able to boot to each one and install updates, used gdisk to make each partition bootable, rEFInd for my EFI boot manager.
Emailed the guy who programed rEFInd and he said, "My suspicion is that you're booting both of your Linuxes in BIOS mode. This limits your options.
OS X is on /dev/sda2, Bootcamp is on /dev/sda4, LM is on /dev/sda5, Kali is on /dev/sda8.
Could someone explain how I could be running my Linuxes in Bios mode and what are my limits?
Thanks,
Dave
