So for some reason my G5 Quad sometimes gets detected just as Dual.

Recently it stopped booting unless I first run reset-all cmd+p+r and then it boots with a single cpu.

Actually I just run the diagnostics and I get:

Any ideas?

Maybe I need to reseat the CPUs but I have no idea how.

This should contain all the steps needed to reach the cpus, although something might be slightly different. Be wary of any dust in the pins, and especially coolant leaks and their inherent symptoms. This could mean anything but I'm leaning towards a bad cpu card.

Yeah sometimes it works, - easy to get
Sometimes it works with quad cpus - basically 0.01%

Maybe I could swap the CPU with my old Dual one @2.0 - I think it has the same dual core cpu
