Hi,
Quadratus HD is now live on the App Store.

Some codes are still to be taken in the Code Sharing subforum

I hope you'll like it - any feedback appreciated :)

Regards,
Marek

hi, please get rid of "HD" from the name of your app. we know it's for ipad, the app store tells us this. the screen on the ipad isn't even HD

thanks.

Hi, this "HD" thing is very common in the App Store. Do you think devs should generally stop using it?

In my app "HD" distinguish it from regular iPhone version.
I know iPad's screen is far from full High Definition, but here "HD" comes from "slightly Higher Definition" ;)

Marek

yeah, actually i just posted a thread about it if you care to take a look.

the app store also distinguishes it from the iphone version. it has sections for ipad and iphone/ipod touch. it also lists compatible devices on the application's description page and show screenshots. it's pretty obvious which one is which (although ideally, they'd be the same package/product and would be universal for one price instead of two)

Actually, having a 'HD' in the title often helps in identifying it within iTunes for syncing to your device. If you own both an iPhone and an iPad version of an app, it's not apparent which is which before you sync it over, unless the name suggest it. Just my 2p worth.
