Quadro FX 4500 SDI Option

Is there anyway to use the Quadro FX 4500’s SDI add-on board in a G5?

There only appears to be Windows and Linux software available so I’m guessing that the G5 would have to be running Linux.

Wanted to check in case there was a OS X use that I missed.

Nfi, pretty rare board set that. The manual states that only windows 2k and linux are supported.
