I was under the impression that Kepler cards worked out of the box. I waited for a long time hoping that eventually OSX would load and I could see something, but it didn't look like anything was going to happen. So I reinstalled my old HD 2600XT at the same time and now I see that the Quadro doesn't detect my monitor on the Displayport.

There are many guides out there but I don't know which one to follow or is relevant. In particular, do I need to flash the Quadro to a GT640? Would that mess up the video outputs? The reason I bought a K2000 was because it had 2 DP outputs. And why do I need to install Lilu/Whatevergreen if Mojave already supports it? Do I need OpenCore? How does it interact with dosdude's patches?
