Has anyone compared experience with both AT&T and Verizon service with AW S3 LTE? I am considering changing to Verizon.

I am using iPhone X simFree (with the Qualcomm modem) with AT&T service and connectivity with watch when no phone present appears to happen much more quickly and automatically.

This is same model A1865 as Verizon sells with Qualcomm modem rather than Intel modem that is installed in AT&T model A1901, which I had launch day thru Dec. 6. With that one I always had to check and usually initiate independent cellular on watch once out of range of iphone.

Why would the modem in the phone matter?
The 8+ had a Qualcomm and the X had att.
The notifications and service with att actually sucks, IMO.
My series 2 non lte edition was much better in the notifications than LTE

The iphone modem communicates with cell & wifi services. That’s why it MIGHT be important and I’m looking for others’ input.

both the phones you mention came in a model with Qualcomm modem or a model with Intel modem.

I am asking for feedback from knowledgeable, mature people with experience with both and the LTE AW if possible.

Thank you for sharing you had better experience with notifications on nonLTE S2 than S3 LTE, if I understand correctly.

Absolutely the S2 (Nike and edition) was faster and far more reliable whether WiFi or bluetooth
