Quality external drive for use with MBP and Duet?

Hi,
Im looking for a quality external HD mainly for use with Digital Audio files and projects.

I have a 17" MBP that is connected to my Apogee Duet via firewire and have heard there can be problems with both connected?

I am looking for storage of at least 1TB

What would you recomend?

I have just received a 1TB time capsule which i am going to return.
