Quality of 15-inch hirez screens

Can you please share your thoughts about those screens?
Who makes them? Are glossy better than matte (not talking about
glossy vs matte, but the quality - brightness, contrast etc)?
Any update after a few months of use (introduced in Feb 2011)
will be appreciated. Seems like I might pick one up as those might
be the last MBPs able to run SL.

The hires screen is very nice. I believe it's manufactured by LG. The backlight is very bright and everything is very sharp. I have a glossy screen so I can't really compare the antiglare and the glossy.
