Quality of MBP built-in camera?

I was thinking about recording some videos of me playing the bass guitar and putting them on youtube...is the MBP camera good enough quality to do this? Or would I be better off buying a camcorder? I dont need some ulta-high quality videos, but I would want viewers to be able to watch the videos clearly and comfortably.

It's excellent quality for a webcam. It does have issues with darkness though, so make sure your environment is well-lighted.

Other than that, it'll do very well for YouTube videos.

Personally I've only used my iSight for webcam chatting but I would assume its good enough for youtube videos, just record something and decide for yourself. I find the mic quite good as well.

If you use iMovie 09' you can upload directly to YouTube from it.
