Quality screen test: my iPhone 3g fails

Just found out via this site www.lagom.nl/lcd-tests/small/ that my iPhone 3g fails the first contrast test: i cant see the first three darkest colors (

My phone seems to handle it all pretty well.

That particular test depends on 3 factors.

1 - The screen quality
2 - Screen brightness setting
3 - Your own eye's sensitivity

I find "fails the test" to be a bit innacurate. This test is presuming to determine #1. This is despite the fact that it gives no instruction on #2 and it has absolutely no way of knowing #3.

To call this a "test" isn't quite accurate. Yes, it's a test, but it's testing 3 things and somehow trying to argue that it's only testing 1 thing.
