My school is getting new emacs, and a deal has been worked out so that they can still boot OS9, however i am trying to get the teacher to switch to 10.2 for obvious reasons.

It has basically come down to Quark releasing 6, beacause the switch to classic is relatively slower on emacs, and naturally Quark is the missing link, in an otherwise winning batttle...

Can anyone give me an educated guess when 6 will ACTUALLY be released, so I have something a little more concrete to talk to the teachers about.

BTW: if I tell a teacher the macrumors crew told me the date, they will definitely listen. THe macrumors community has fixed several problems for us.

Thanks Guys :D

jeeze i cant believe you even care :)

well, i dont know. i dont even think quark knows.

actually i (personally) dont care. I am QUITE happy with ID2 :D

my design teachers are old school, and they wont go without quark...
