So I've gone from a 17" iMac 1.8 CD with 1.5 GB RAM pushing a second 20" monitor to a 24" 2.4 C2D imac with 3 GB RAM pushing same second monitor as well and Quark seems to be running SLOWER for me, not faster. Of course, I also went from OS 10.4 to 10.5 with the upgrade.
I'm getting major delays when importing images, saving, etc etc etc....
Anyone have any advice? I have ONE huge project that I have to use Quark on, and everything else I use InDesign and haven't really seen too many issues with my Adobe products, but these delays in Quark are brutal.
Anyone?
Also, any Quark gurus know how to deactivate the iTunes controls on the keyboard so my F7 actually works in Quark to show and hide guides???
