QuarkXPress 6.1 Stalling...

When attempting to open an EPS in Quark 6.1, nothing comes up. Beachball appears, Force Quit quits the app fine, and it starts up fine, but when you attempt to open any 6.1 document, modified as late as this past Friday, nothing appears. Any thoughts?

Actually, strike that. It was a .qxp, not an EPS.

Try ditching the preferences.

Quit the app. Grab them in your home>library>preferences>quark>quarkxpress 6>XPress Preferences.prf

Move them somewhere else ie. desktop

Start Quark up, see if that works.

If not, try repairing permissions (a bit desperate).

If not, reinstall. I had to do this, but somehow reactivation wasn't necessary.

What a bunch of crap this software is... the list of problems with it is as long as your arm.
