Hi all! Can someone tell me if the Quartz (Extreme?) graphics in OS X can be enhanced or supplemented with additional animations and/or any other even-triggered graphics?
Here's one example that most Mac users who also own at least one iOS device will likely know about: In iOS, whenever you delete an email in a mailbox, an animation is triggered where the email starts to "liquify" and it looks as though it is being sucked into the trashcan, which itself opens first and subsequently closes back up. Pretty cool stuff. However, there is nothing like that with the trashcan in OS X.
There are other examples that only exist in OS X but not in iOS. At any rate, are there any third-party apps or add-on's or whatever that add to the mix of these type of graphics for either OS X or iOS? I'm mostly interested in OS X.
Thanks very much!
