QuartzGL enabling on ppc g5?

Hi,
i have found post that enabling QuartzGL on 10.5 leopard, makes computer run faster, is it true? And what QuartzGL do?

Computer:
1.8ghz ppc iMac
512mb ram
80gb hdd
64mb video

With your setup I doubt it would run at all.
What is QuartzGL
Give your iMac max RAM (2GB) and faster HDD and it certainly will run faster

QuartzGL is not finished. It is highly buggy, and may or may not be faster. Do not enable. For developers only.
