I have a 2.3 15'' mbp retina that i just got. In system information > SATA/SATA Express, i get the following info:

My 512gb has:
Apple SSD Controller:

Vendor: Apple
Product: SSD Controller
Physical Interconnect: PCI
Link Width: x2
Link Speed: 5.0 GT/s

My friend's 1tb has:
Apple SSD Controller:

Vendor: Apple
Product: SSD Controller
Physical Interconnect: PCI
Link Width: x4
Link Speed: 5.0 GT/s

Can anyone confirm what they get on their 512gb variant?

so it seems the 1tb has 4x link width, whereas the 512gb has 2x
