Query on sending text to group in 3.0

A quick question for those with the beta.

In 3.0 is it possible to send a text to one of the groups in your phone without having to add the names individually? That's the one thing I miss.

no i dont believe so
but group texts are now considered MMS messages
meaning they don't work on ATT at the moment

Only if you have mms enabled. It will let you do group text if you turn mms off.

this is a feature I need sometimes, and I'm trying to stay away from those custom carrier files. Never know what that could end up doing in the long run
so this is a much better solution
