Should you turn it off when your not using it? Like, does anything drain 3G without usage. That's what I'm afraid of.

No. Just keeping the settings to allow to connect to wifi if available. Then it will automatically (unless PW is required then you can store that too) connect to wifi if in range, otherwise it will connect to 3G automatically. 3G doesn't drain or get drained.
 
Better question: does having the 3G radio on affect battery life, even though you are connected to wifi?

I left 3G on with WiFi and without for about a couple hours each.

The data usage was the same!

but sometimes i'll just turn it off. just in case. :eek:
