My problem is my jailbreak!

All i want to know is that a bootrom jailbreak has been found now and its in works, can we all not just update and when the jailbreak is out we can jailbreak then?

In what way do we have to wait for the dev team and then when they tell us its safe then we upgrade (like we would normally do) and then jailbreak.

My question: Can i just upgrade to 4.1 and then not worry as jailbreak is bootrom (hardware) so i can jailbreak on anything...?

We do not know how long it will take for the 4.1 jailbreak to debut but it sounds like the jailbreak is not essential for your day to day operations so go ahead and upgrade to 4.1 and wait if you wish.

but what i want to know is that will i be able to jailbreak after i upgrade? thats the real question

Nope, not for a while. If you're on an iPhone 3G, the snappy performance you gain from the upgrade is well worth it. I can not comment if you are using a 3GS or a 4. My experience with the iPhone 3G is a staggering difference in terms of performance with the upgrade from 4.0.1 to 4.1. My 3G actually feel FAST now.

i use iPhone 4

also, i dont need unlock as i live in the UK...already unlocked iphone
