Is the new education app something you'll get with the update so something Apple forces on iPad's or is it an app you download from the store? Is it also free or something you need to pay for?

Thanks

No it's not a forced on you app that comes pre installed. It's something you need to sign up and register for. Basically if you aren't a teacher and don't specifically seek to get it, you won't ever see it.

OK, thanks. Any specific website to sign up or just download app and register?

Want to maybe give the app a try and hope it turns out to be what they have said it is.

I don't think anyone has access to it yet and I don't think anyone knows how one would get access yet. The website for it says 'Coming Soon".

Here is the link to it's own page. http://www.apple.com/ca/education/preview/
