Question About activating a 1st gen 2.0 iphone

Hey guys,
Currently I am an AT&T customer in Puerto Rico. I recently got a 1st gen iphone as a gift and had a question about the activation. I currently have a plan that includes unlimited calls and Data, with 1500 sms, when i activate my iphone with the 2.0 software, do i continue to have my same plan or do i have to sign up to another plan? Thanks in advance!!!

What is the old plan for? What devise? It's likely the iPhone plan may be cheaper, but depends. If you take the SIM card out of the old phone with that plan it should work fine.
