I just got a shipping notice for my iP4 and it mentions that you need to call AT&T first to activate your iP4...provide them with IMEI, Sim #, etc...then after that you will sync up with iTunes.
I was under the assumption that you could sync up with iTunes to activate the iP4 and no call to AT&T was needed. Is that possible, or do you have to call AT&T first?
My 3G was activated in store, so I have never done it on my own before.
