Is this promo http://store.apple.com/us-hed/browse/campaigns/adobe/guide?mco=MTM3NDgwNDI just the back to school promo in disguise? Or are they separate promos? And if they are can I use both to get one of the adobe products 200 dollars off?

Note: I read the terms and conditions but I wasn't sure.

They're separate. You get all kinds of discounts.

You get your education discount on the hardware (eg- $100 off on a 13" MacBook Pro). You get your EDU discount on AppleCare. You get the $100 Mac App Store credit because the BTS promo is going on. You get CS5.5 at a significant discount because you're a student, but you also get another $100 off if you get CS5.5 with at the same time you buy a new Mac.

In other words, you're saving damn near $2000 by being a student ;)

See if you can get Adobe straight from your school before buying it from Apple. My university is selling CS5.5 Design Premium for $339, down from the retail price of $1899.

Apple sells it for the same price if you're getting a Mac.

What department did you get it from? Or is it just a school book store?

Oddly enough, the SKU's on Apple's Store and those in the TOC for the promo don't match (Adobe) - Apple Store:

Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium (H5982LL/A) - H5961LL/A
Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard STE Bundle (H5989LL/A) - H5954LL/A
Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium STE Bundle (H5981LL/A) - H5951LL/A

If you access the software form the store, not th slink, Apple appears to offer an instant discount w/Mac purchase but you need to call the 800 number to qualify.
