Question about AIM usernames in Adium.

In Adium, rather than having one's name show up as "john52525" (just an example, but this would be their AIM username), is it possible for me to change it show up as their real name, such as John Smith?

I'd like this because occasionally I still get confused with so many people's AIM usernames being on my buddy list and this would be an easier way for their accounts to be displayed (for me, at least).

If "John Smith" exists in your Address Book you can simply add an IM field containing his AIM username (Address Book supports several other IM protocols too). Adium will pick up the information from Address Book and format the contact name correctly.

Right click on their name, "Get Info", and enter an alias.
