My macbook 13" almost one year, so am thinking about to buy applecare wich is $249. The question is, will applecare can help you do the hardware such as if the keyboard is not working or the screen are broken ?

Yes, AppleCare covers the hardware. It does not cover accidental damage.

If you are going to buy it, you have to buy it and register it before you reach the one-year point.

AppleCare will cover any hardware defect (including the keyboard and screen) unless the defect is the result of accidental damage from the user (i.e. dropping it, spilling water on it, etc.).

But if your macbook breaks for any reason that is not your fault, then yes, both replacement hardware and labor will be free of charge.

Just FYI, you can get it for ~$185 or so on Amazon.com (essentially the student discount price).
