I find the service at my local Apple Store pretty top notch. Considering all they do to help me out with my devices, would it be inappropriate to bring them some coffee and donuts as a thank you for all the help? I have Genius Bar appointment for something and though I would say thanks for all the help.

Perhaps a gift certificate to the coffee shop would be wiser.

I'm sure they would appreciate it :). Good getting them all the way through the store without the customers mooching them lol

My Genius Bar appointment is at 9:00, they don't open for shopping until 10:00

As for gift certificates, I was under the belief they couldn't take "cash" tips.

I've seen people mention that employees aren't allowed to take any kind of tip from the public, not really sure how that's enforced though.

EDIT: I could actually see this ending up pretty awkward if they weren't able to accept it.
