Question about apple supply of iPhone 6+

I recently called up apple and am getting a replacement of my 6+ due to a vibration problem. It will be brand new and will be shipping out today hopefully they said.

Does anyone know if they just a set stock in California to ship out? I thought I would have to wait as long as I did for this one?

They typically keep a handful of models aside for defective exchanges, which is why you won't have to wait as long for your initial phone.

That's great! I get a new phone in a few days! I was so upset about maybe having to wait a week or two. Will it ship from Cupertino? Or China like my original phone I have did?
