question about applecar + lost phone?

does applecare + cover for lost phones? i keep reading different things on this. Some people they do now since the policy changed. but im not sure.
Also will they do a color change if lost? black for white...

I guess the one thing you haven't read are the terms of AppleCare+. They haven't changed. The answer is no.
