Question about AppleCare for iPhone

Hi, my mates wife dropped her 4S down the loo.
So it is water damaged and pretty much broke.
My question is: could she buy apple care now and get it fixed/exchanged??

Since accidental damage isn't covered then the answer is probably no....Check your household contents policy for accidental cover though...You may be able to claim through that.

Just to add in though, your mate can always:

1. Sell the phone off EBay and buy a new one.

2. Get it fixed at any Apple Store for a price.

3. Search for mobile phone repairers. Less trustworthy than Apple, but comes with a cheaper price though.
