Question about AppleCare.

I'm going to buy a used apple product from someone and it's supposedly less than one year and still under the warranty. do i need anything from him(receipt, etc.) to bring to apple for repair if something happens?

Yep, it's all serial number driven. Get the serial number and go to apple.com/support and it will tell you the exact date the warranty expires.

AFAIK, the warranty is tied to the serial number of the iDevice.
