Question about AT&T Pre-Order Plan Selection

Hey everyone, I finally got through to ATT's pre-order page around 12:30PM and placed an order. I was wondering if your data plan (unlimited specifically) / minutes plan carries over from the 3GS to the 4. ATT prompted me to select a data plan when I pre-ordered; giving me 2 choices, 200mb or 2gb. Instead, I didn't choose any data plan and just chose my minutes plan and hit pre-order. I was just wondering if your data plan is account-bound or phone specific.
