If we all bought the iPhone 4 when it launched last June, how will any of us be able to upgrade to the iPhone 4S/5(whatever it'll be called) at the reduced two year agreement price point? So am I right to think that if any current iPhone 4 user wants to upgrade in September (presumably) they'll have to pay full price?

AT&T has, in the past, offered a special price to those who have purchased the phone in the past year.
When the 3GS was released, people who had purchased the 3G were able to get a 3GS for about $100 more (if I recall correctly).
And I think last year with the iPhone 4 AT&T went ahead and waived the wait period for most people.
So the short answer is, who knows? AT&T will likely weight the benefits of selling more phones to the cost of giving people upgrades.

Thanks for the reply. I really hope they do offer some sort of early upgrade options for those of us who bought the 4. Otherwise, I won't be able to upgrade at the cheapest option til 2012
