question about AT&T

If I didn't preorder or anything, is it in any slim chance possible that if I show up at 7AM that I can get an iPhone 3GS or is it pre orders only?

It depends on the store, but it's possible.

I was there today, and the woman I know who works there told me that they had just gotten 10 boxes. That didn't include the 30 or so preorders, I don't think.

BTW, she also told me that last year, the line started forming at 3:30 am, and when she got there at 6:30 for a 7am open, the line was down the block. So I wouldn't say showing up at 7 gives you the best chance.

Meh, I'm totally not all that worried about it. If worst comes to worst I'll just order one

i would expect half the showing of last year. a lot more people pre ordered and had them shipped than most people think.

yea don't even open for us without pre-orders until their normal times(mine local one is at 9)

I'll be heading down at 5 to check it out though
