I'm considering buying the iPhone with the cheapest monthly plan....however this requires me to get my own phone account. Currently my phone is on my father's business account and an iPhone cannot be added to this account. I have a job and can pay the monthly bill but I'm just curious about the 2 year contract. By signing up for the 2 year agreement if I at some point don't make a monthly payment....will they just shut off my service until I pay again, or will there be legal action taken against me? I just want to make sure that if down the road if I somehow don't have the money to pay my bill, if they will just be cutting off my service for the month or something worse such as fining me. Thanks.

Well if you don't pay your bill, you will get shut up and hit with a late fee. Ultimately, if you never pay it again, they will send you to collections.

if one has a question about income I don't think it would be wise to be purchasing something that one does not need to get by.
