Question About Available Pickup?

I finally found an iPhone 5s. My question is if I use the available pickup option when I get to the store can I still trade in my old iPhone? I'm paying full price for the phone so the trade in of my old phone will help with some of the cost. Thanks for any help.

I suspect not since you go through the transaction including credit card during the online purchase. Worst case just float the difference and sell the phone via gazelle or similar. I sold a couple phones to Amazon trade in service as they offered a bunch more than the others. I'll get amazon credit but that'll be easily used with Christmas coming soon.

That stinks, I guess no new iPhone for me until they're more available and I could just go to my local Apple store.
