Hi all,

I have a question for you guys. In Canada, the rebate is for an 8GB iPod Touch ($259), but I was wondering if I could get the 16GB iPod Touch ($329) and still get the rebate of $259? That way I could get the 16GB model for only $70 (and tax). My music library is 8GB, so there is noway I could use the 8GB model as I plan to put movies and pictures on it too.

Thank you all for your time,
Nihar

The rebate is valid for "qualifying iPods" as it says on their page, but I can't find the definition of a "qualifying iPod." It's probably best just to ask in the store; in the past I have put my rebate towards an iPod classic.

yes, it says $229 rebate (this is fir the U.S store) and also the rebate dosnt cover the whole price for the ipod classic either so you pay the difference.

Does anyone know if you can just use the rebate towards the laptop instead of an iPod. I already have a itouch and nano so I don't need one

You cannot just use the rebate on your purchase. It is a "get rid of ipods" sale, not a super-discounted MB sale. You could get it and sell it, but a lot of people will be doing that so you will probably not fetch the full 230 for it.
