OK,

I plan on mainly running my macbook while plugged in. Mainly I have setup my desk in my room with an external monitor, so I mostly run my new blackbook with it closed (Does this create a potential problem with heat?). However, I do go to classes twice a week as well, but I usually will only use it when I have a wall socket around me.

My question is, will this help the battery last longer, or does it really matter? Right now I only have 4 cycles on it, and I am trying to keep this number as low as possible in order to make it last as long as I can.

The main reason I love this machine is because I can use it as my desktop (while attached to my monitor or TV) as well as portable when I need it to be... I love it!
