Hey

I am going to London next week for a vacation for around a week and I wanna buy the new iPhone from there but I have been told that the phone should be unwrapped in order to get a tax back refund. is that true?

Like for example if the phone doesn't work later so I won't be able to repair it or get a new phone from Apple. I mean like I have to try the phone when I buy it so if there is any issue or doesn't work I will get a new one directly. Because the country I will be going to doesn't have official Apple store in it so any advises?

Thanks
