Discovered a program called "CleanMyMac" that claims to remove unnecessary files from the Mac hard drive.

This sounds like a good idea (My iMac is now almost 3 years old.), but I am reluctant to launch any program that tells me in advance that it will go running through my system deleting files.

Is this program safe ?

Thanks for your comments.

I use it, and I would say you are safe in using it. It doesn't allow you to delete anything that is system critical. Its kinda like CCleaner for Windows. It also allows you to remove language translations if you don't speak other languages other than English. Go for it!

Actually, it is about time that I run it again since we are talking about it.

Thanks for your comment. I'll give it a try.
