I recently purchased a 21.5-inch, Late 2012 iMac and I'm in love with it. I purchased the MacUpdate Bundle special from a few weeks ago that included iStat Menus. I'm using it and the temperature feature is really cool but I was wondering what temperatures I should be concerned about.

Most temperatures seem to hover in the low to mid 110's (F) and sometimes drift up into the 120's. However, when I came out of the one game that I play I noticed the temperatures were in the 150's.

What temperatures should I be concerned about? Many temperatures are featured and I have no idea what I should be looking for.

Thanks!

I'm assuming you have a core i5 machine? If so the thermal specification is about 162 F and the maximum is much higher. So you should be fine.
