I am confused on what I need to keep, what I need to sell, and what I need to keep. Here's my video card and the monitor.

The monitor has DVI-D ports. I have a miniDVI to DVI-D adapter.
The video card looks like it has DVI-D Dual link and an adapter to go to VGA.

Will all of it work together? Is there anything I need to know?

All you need is a DVI cable from the card to the monitor. The monitor comes with one. Or did you mean to say you want to hook up a Mac with a mini-DVI port to the monitor? In that case you would stick your mini-DVI-to-DVI adapter into the Mac and connect the DVI cable from the monitor to that.

What would happen if I hook my mac up to the DVI section and my pc to the VGA input?
