I have a question about the fan-system and especially the two air-channels towards the CPU and dGPU of my 2011 and 2012 MacBookPros:

Is it so that BOTH fans cool the same way first the CPU and shortly after the dGPU by a COMMON air-channel

OR:

are the two fans functionally separated - so that one cools only the CPU and the other only the dGPU?

Background of my question:I use macFanControl and want to be shure that both separatly adjustable fans will BOTH TOGETHER blow the air in a COMMON air channel to cool the CPU and dGPU.

If they´d cool separately I´d need to know which fan cools which processor....

Both seems possible for me:

the air channel leads first to the CPU and after that to the dGPU.

if a common cooling channel: Would be a sort of redundancy in case of one fan failing, but would cool first the CPU and after that "cool" the dGPU with already heated air --> disadvantageous for the dGPU which might explain a little bit the typical Problems with the dGPUs...

if separated: would cool both processors with cool air but kill rapidly one processor if its own and only fan fails.

Thanks for answers in advance...
