So I just bought a new 4K ATV and I love it. I've been a member of Blu-Ray.com and they have a section where people are selling their codes for digital copies.

If I buy an UltraViolet code for example, does that still show up under the "MOVIES" app under Apple TV, or does it require a completely separate app?

Ideally I'd want all my movie collection in one place instead of multiple apps.

Thanks!

If the code works with itunes or movies anywhere it will show up in the movies tab with everything else.

It depends on the movie and the UV service that you redeem with.

Let's say that the code is truly a UV code. You will need to sign up with a service that accepts UV codes. I use Vudu to redeem my UV codes. If the studio of said movie participates in MoviesAnywhere, and you link your Vudu account with your iTunes account, then redeeming in Vudu will also put that movie in your iTunes account.

Then on the AppleTV, the purchased movies tab should allow you to play that movie.

However, if the said movie is not participating in MoviesAnywhere, then you would have to watch that movie using the Vudu app.
