Question about downloading youtube videos using Safari activity monitor.

i have been using this method a long time ago but it doesn't seam to work now ?


I can't find the video link on the Activity window.

Anyone know why ?

Have you tried right-clicking on the video to see if "Download video" is one of your options? Also, check to see if you're using the YouTube HTML5 Video Player to watch YouTube videos. If so, leave the trial.

I didn't see the ''download video'' option.

and i tried HTML5 but no luck.

I also leaved the trial.


In activity monitor i notice there is a bunch of 1,7MB links that have ''videoplayback'' in the address, It may be it but it separated to many files.

Just install the Fastestube extension for Safari. It puts a Download button on YouTube pages. So much easier.
