Can my MacBook read mini DVDs? I have a mini DVD camera and I'd like to upload movies to YouTube. If my mac will accept mini DVD's that'd be great - otherwise I'll need to get a firewire...right?

Or will it work with just a USB cord? (I swear I tried that and couldn't figure it out)

I'd like to use iMovie to edit, add music, etc.

No. Don't even try. Putting mini DVDs in slot drives can lead to them getting stuck in there forever. Then its new drive time.

Yikes! Ok thanks! I won't try. That's exactly what I was afraid of.

(so do you know what I should do?)

I never really knew that mac wont accept mini dvd's. why can't apple just do what nintendo did with the wii's?
