Question about facebook messenger...

I dont have it but my friend does, and I have never told him my location.
If we discuss while using it will he know where I am located because I heard that Fb messenger for iOs reveals these sorts of things......

any iOS app that want's to use your location must ask you before it has access to that information.

You will also notice a small triangle in your status bar that indicates location services are being used.

So even though I'm on windows computer it will ask me if I want to reveal my location?

depends how you have your browser settings configured. I use FireFox and it asks me when websites want to use my location.

But since you posted this in the "iPhone/iPod Touch Apps" section, that's what I was referring to. If you want relevant answers you should probably let people know your question relates to facebook.com from a PC, not the app.
